Chassis Engineering Engine Motor Mount Kit for 1940-54 SBC Chevy Truck CP-1160

This kit is designed to be used with your Mustang II aftermarket IFS kits (does not work with bolt on crossmembers). They are easy to install, just remove the stock motor mounts and bolt these in their place. These motor mounts reach closer to the frame than stock motor mounts to help prevent frame twisting, a serious problem with stock mounts. Stock motor mounts are usually made of a large rubber block whick that can not only break or tear but can allow the engine to rock sideways excessivley. These mounts are bolted through a shock absorbing cushion and cannot come apart. The engine rocking is limited (a must for tight clearances) without passing vibrations to the frame.
