New 1955-57 Chevy Front Engine Mounting Kit, Sbc V-8, Black, Motor Mounts, Tri-five
The engine mounts on your Tri-Five Chevy are crucial for reducing vibration and extending the life of your engine and its components. The front engine mounts includes the shafts, rubbers, washers, nuts, & lock washers that are usually missing or worn out on 55-57 Tri-Five Chevy's.
This kit will do both sides, & includes everything pictured to restore the mounts back to new condition. The Mounting brackets are Powder Coated Black and are the OEM replacement brackets with all the correct contours. Note: These engine mounting brackets will only bolt on the early Chevy Engine Blocks that have the 4 bolt holes tapped 3/8-16 in the front.
These tapped holes are located in the cast bosses, that are either side of the timing cover, just above the harmonic balancer. It is possible to tap these holes on the blocks that are not threaded, but requires a skilled installer.
