END CAP HAS A NICE LOOKING LEVER THAT HAS THREE POSITIONS. THE ROUND NUT ON THE OPPOSITE END PUSHES IN AND ALLOWS THE SHAFT TO MOVE NICELY. I HAVE NOT BENCH TESTED THIS.
