This 55-57 Chevy v8 front and rear engine mounting kit mounts the Small Block Chevy engine in the correct location in 55-57 Chevy's > The front engine mounts includes shafts, rubbers, washers, nuts, and lock washers that are usually missing or worn out on 55-57 Tri-Five Chevy's > These brackets are powder coated black and are the OEM replacement brackets with all the correct contours.
The bellhousing mounts connect the Chevy bellhousing to the 55-57 Chevy Tri-Five Frame, and includes both the left and right side rear engine mounts, THE REAR MOUNT TO BELLHOUSING BOLTS, WASHERS, ETC AND THE REAR MOUNTS TO THE FRAME BOLTS(OL'55 PARTS) W/LOCK NUTS > This kit includes both the left and right side front engine mounts, both front left and right engine mounting brackets, and both left and right side bellhousing mounts, and includes everything pictured. Note: These engine mounting brackets will only bolt on the early Chevy Engine Blocks that have the 4 bolt holes tapped 3/8-16 in the front > These tapped holes are located in the cast bosses, that are either side of the timing cover, just above the harmonic balancer > It is possible to tap these holes on the blocks that are not threaded, but requires a skilled installer.
