Installs using existing holes in original engine cross member. Designed to allow for proper oil pan clearance with steering linkage. Adapters feature CNC laser cut steel construction. Allows for 1/2" rearward and 2-1/2" forward adjustment. Designed to be used with no A/C or high mount A/C setups. Are you ready to put in an LS engine into your classic Chevelle or El Camino? These LS engine conversion perches install in the factory cross member and will allow you to properly position your LS to install in your 68-72 A-body. Our LS adapter kits allow the engine to move from 1/2" rearward (great for oil pan to crossmember clearance) up to 2-1/2" forward allowing for a completely custom range of positions. CPP's exclusive design no-weld brackets are CNC laser cut steel and features a durable black powder coat finish.
