2012 Buick Lacrosse/Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid Induction Motor
This is for a brand new General Motors hybrid induction motor/generator. It is a direct fit into the 2nd generation hybrid Malibu and lacrosse (2012 & up). It is made to run on/generate 115v and is rated for 80ft/lbs of torque and 20hp. The 3 big leads on top are where the power is hooked up, the plug on the back is a 10 pole positioning sensor. It is fully sealed with large bearings and a coolant loop.
It was bought new for a project that didn't happen. I have read that these can handle 4x stock voltage and put out over 65kw/hr at anywhere from 4-13,000 rpm.
