Provide Needed Clearance for Your Big Block Chevy When Using G-Comp Suspension. Our popular G-Comp and G-Comp X Edition Shop Speedway Motors G-Comp/Unser Edition Front Suspensions are designed to use the standard 3-bolt SBC/BBC motor mount. This means that once you have the front clip installed in your Camaro, Nova, or Chevy II platform you can run either a small block Chevy or even an LS with our LS motor mount SBC to LS Motor Mount Adapter Plates or a big block Chevy. While the SBC is often the easier and less expensive route to take, we know that there are many diehard BBC fans out there.
However, with the BBC option there are often clearance issues with certain oil pans and our crossmember. While you can obviously modify or fabricate a custom oil pan, we also know that many are looking for a simple bolt-in solution to this issue when it pops up (and it may even happen with certain SBC deep oil pans as well). To that end, we have created these BBC motor mount risers for those that need extra clearance. Crafted from 1/2-inch thick A36 plate steel and clear zinc coated for corrosion protection, they mount directly to your SBC or BBC engine block, providing relocated mounting holes for SBC/BBC Rubber Motor Mounts or SBC/BBC Polyurethane Motor Mounts SBC motor mounts or BBC motor mounts.

I needed to raise the engine or modify the oil pan.
Installing these spacers solved the oil pan problem, leaving only millimeters of clearance below the hood. I'm grateful these spacers are available.
