These mounts fit C10 trucks with the Wide Frame Rails - see the photograph to help identify which style frame rail in on your truck. C10 Trucks with Narrow Frame Rails use part number BHS511.

In most cases, the narrow frame rails were used on 1968-72 trucks to accommodate big block engines, but some trucks may have been had the frame swapped at some point after it left the factory. Installation of these brackets requires the use of BlackHeart LS/LT Polyurethane Inserts - P/N's 71221016HKR (Black) or 71221017HKR (Red) along with Hooker Blackheart 71221018HKR (LS Engines), or 71221019HKR (Gen-V LT engines). Also requires Blackheart 71223015HKR engine mount bolt kit to connect the Hooker engine brackets to the motor mounts. Specification requirements are 10.9 M12 x 1.75 x 140mm. LS engines can substitute O.

4th-gen F-body LS engine mounts (ex: GM 22179268 or Anchor 3064) instead of the Blackheart Clamshells and Polyurethane inserts. Use 302-2, or 302-3 oil pans w/ LS Engines, and 302-20 w/ Gen-V LT engines. Allows Use of Low Mount A/C. GM LS & Gen-V LT engines make great power and are ideal for engine swaps in the 1963-67 GM C10 Trucks. Hooker BlackHeart application-specific LS/LT swap engine mounting brackets remove the installation guesswork and compatibility uncertainty that comes with using universal/adjustable swap plates.

These motor mounting brackets fit both the LS & LT engines, and allow a future engine upgrade by changing the clamshell that attaches to the engine (when upgrading from LS to LT engine). These brackets are for use on trucks with the wide style frame rails (see photo below to identify if you have the wide or narrow frame rails). Use with 4th Gen GM F-Body Style Clamshell Engine Mounts. LS Engines Use 71221018HKR Clamshells, 71221016HKR (Black) or 71221017HKR (Red) Polyurethane Inserts & 71223015HKR through bolts.

Gen-V LT Engines use 71221019HKR Clamshells, 71221016HKR (Black) or 71221017HKR (Red) Polyurethane Inserts & 71223015HKR through bolts. Compatible Oil Pans: LS Swap Pans 302-2, or 302-3 & Gen-V LT Swap Pan 302-20. Fits Trucks w/ Wide Frame Rails (see photo to identify which style frame rail you have). Use These Mounts with Crossmember 71222024HKR (T56 or T56 Magnum), 71222024HKR-1 (4L80E, TH400), or 71222024HKR-2. Use These Mounts with Crossmember 71222024HKR (T56 or T56 Magnum), 71222024HKR-1 (4L80E, TH400), or 71222024HKR-2 (4L60E, 6L80, 700R4, TH350).
