This engine mount is Hydraulic because it was filled with fluid when was manufactured at the factory, it has to be hydraulic so that the fluid absorbs the engine vibration. Our advice is: "never install this mount without that feature (Solid Option) in your car or you will feel your car like a blender". Keep in mind this: The most important feature that a motor or a transmission mount must have is the good quality of the rubber. When the rubber was made from synthetic components the rubber stinks and that means it will not last long.
