Small Block SBF Ford Engine Swap Weld On Motor Mount Kit Custom Street Rod 351W Fits :: Small Block Ford Engines - ONLY Hardware :: Grade 8 Installation :: Weld On Material :: Steel :: PARTS LIST :: Tubular Motor Stands with Bushings x 2 Frame Plates x 4 Engine Mounting Bolts & Lock Washers x 4 Bushing Mounting Bolts & Nuts x 2 :: INSTALLATION :: 1.Position the motor in place in the chassis in the exact location that you need it to be. Everyones engine location varies, so you are the best judge of the correct final engine location for your car.
Be sure that the engine height angle is correct at ride height and final rake. Bolt the tubular stands to the engine block. Assemble the frame plates onto the bushings with supplied bolts and nuts. The frame plates should rest against the insides of the frame rails. Note: In some cases the frame plates may need fitting or trimming due to frame rail variations. The universal motor mount kit may need to be modified to fit wider or narrower frames. Tack weld the plates to the frame. Remove the tubular stands and finish welding the plates to the frame (the bushings will melt if they are left in place during welding).After plates are cool, reassemble tubular stands and tighten all bolts.
